Cottage entertaining with My Gourmet Himalayan Salt Stones

Headed up north this weekend with some friends?

There’s nothing more fun for a backyard barbecue cook than My Gourmet Himalayan Salt Stones! We love them because they are so versatile, interesting, and fun. They make an amazing hosting gift for your weekend away, and then you and your hosts can spend the weekend playing around with your My Gourmet salt stones, cooking up tasty treats.

What will your hosts love about them?

While a bottle of wine or a case of beer is surely appreciated, it’s not the most memorable. A himalayan salt stone set will be used and enjoyed all season long, and your hosts will appreciate a gift they can actually use. It’s suitable for anyone, and cooking is such a big part of cottage time. My Gourmet Himalayan Salt stones do a lot of the seasoning and grilling work for you, so all you have to do is throw the stones on the barbecue, heat them up, and let them take care of the rest to create a delicious meal.

Plus, there is literally no better way to make a burger than on a himalayan salt stone. The salt seasons the meat just enough, and when the stones are heated to a high temperature they sear the meat to keep in all those lovely juices. Just season and sear your burgers on the himalayan salt stones, and if you like move them over to the grill to cook up some yummy fries to go with it. We used sweet potatoes, just peeled with a vegetable peeler and cooked them up. Shrimps, scallops, and tofu all work great too.

Just remember to bring your My Gourmet Himalayan Salt Stones inside once they’ve cooled off for the day - or you might find your himalayan salt stones have become a delicious salt lick for some of your outdoor furry friends!
